City Square is an architectural facility within the recreational space of 12 thousand m2, located in the business district of "Moscow City" and having pedestrian connections with the Metropolitan, AFIMOLL City, Cinema Concert Hall, Bagration Bridge, Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment.
In accordance with the Order of the Government of Moscow No. 1761-RP dated August 24, 2010 “On measures to complete the construction of the Building Core of MIBC “Moscow-City ”, the projects “Multifunctional Cinema Hall” and “City Square” are being implemented, which constitute a single architectural ensemble and functional complex.
As Sergei Sobyanin, a Moscow Mayor, noted earlier, "Moscow-City" is turning into a modern downtown of the capital. A full-featured public space has been created in the business centre, where you can not only relax but also implement spectacular holiday programs - concerts, festivals, exhibitions."
“The theme of Time was chosen as the main conceptual idea. The new City Square in "Moscow-City" will become a cult place of recreation and entertainment for Moscow dwellers and guests of the capital”, Sergey Kuznetsov, the chief architect of Moscow, said.
The regulatory status of FUN GENERATION in the implemented comprehensive project of public-private partnership: The Investor and the Technical Customer, the manager of the design and construction of the facility, the Facility Owner and the managing company of the "Concert Hall" facility, the Co-investor and a participant in the development of the actual concept of the "City Square" facility.
The development of the architectural concept for the facades of the "Concert Hall", together with the actualization of the architectural and functional concept of the "City Square" project, was carried out in collaboration with FUN GENERATION, SUE "CENTER-CITY", the architects and designers of GORPROEKT CJSC under the direction of Philipp Nikandrov.
The Urban Square consists of an architectural technological pergola with light and music equipment, framing the space and creating an atmosphere of a protected secluded urban space, decorative paving of the surface with granite numbers, a light and music fountain with a stage located on the water surface, an artificial hill-tribune in the form of an amphitheatre with places for spectators and technological rooms.
The developer is SUE "Centre-City" of Moscow.

The general contractor for the construction of the facility is LLC "SMK".
